Dhaka North fines Tk85,150 for breach of lockdown restrictions
The fines were realised in 40 cases
Dhaka North City Corporation on Saturday operated mobile courts and fined a total of Tk85,150 in 40 cases for breaching Covid-19 lockdown restrictions.
The mobile court realized Tk67,450 in fines in 25 cases in zone-3 of Dhaka North for showing disregard for government instructions regarding the lockdown, for not wearing face masks, for not following the health rules and for running businesses without a license.
The executive magistrates also imposed a fine of Tk3,700 in 12 cases in zone-9 and another Tk14,000 in three other cases in zone-10 of Dhaka North.
