Disseminate Covid-19 awareness messages from mosques, other shrines: Ministry

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has called upon the authorities concerned to disseminate awareness speeches regularly from mosques and other shrines to create awareness about the prevention of coronavirus infection.
Upon mentioning the growing number of coronavirus cases in the country, the ministry issued an emergency notification on Monday directing all mosques to preach messages through megaphones about what should be done to prevent coronavirus every day and during the Jumma khutbah (Friday sermon) as well. The directive is also applicable to other religious places of worship, read the notification.
