Former health minister Nasim's condition deteriorates
Although he has tested negative for the coronavirus three times in a row, he is still in the ICU
Former health minister Mohammad Nasim's condition slightly deteriorated on Thursday.
Although he tested negative for the coronavirus two times in a row, he is still in the intensive care unit (ICU).
"A seven-member medical board formed on Monday night to observe him for 72 hours will take decision on the next course of action today," said Vice-Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Professor Kanak Kanti Barua, who is also leading the board.

Asked about news that Nasim would be taken to Singapore, Professor Kanak Kanti said, "I have no idea where the news came from. I am not aware of such a decision."
On June 1, Nasim was admitted to the Bangladesh Specialized Hospital with Covid-19 symptoms, including fever and cold.
He later tested positive for the novel coronavirus the next day. Then, after suffering a brain haemorrhage last Friday, he underwent surgery at the hospital.
Nasim is a diabetic patient and has suffered from a stroke before.
