The Directorate General of Drug Administration has denied registration to the Rapid Antibody Test Kit developed by the Gonoshasthaya Kendra.
The administration has ignored the recommendations given by the Technologist Committee of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital (BSMMU), said Gonoshasthaya Kendra issuing a press release on Thursday.
Regretting over the matter, Gonoshasthaya Kendra said the government made the decision while an emergency situation is prevailing in the country due to the novel coronavirus outbreak.
