Pray at home on Shab-e-Barat night: Islamic Foundation
The foundation also urged people to attend Jummah (Friday) and five times Farz (compulsory) prayers at mosques on a limited scale
The Islamic Foundation on Saturday asked all religious Muslims to pray at home on the holy night of Shab-e-Barat to contain the transmission of novel coronavirus.
In the wake of a nationwide restriction on mass gatherings, the foundation made the request asking people to stay at home on Shab-e-Barat night that is scheduled to be observed on Thursday night.
The foundation advised people to comply with directives given by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and the World Health Organisation (WHO) to contain the spread of coronavirus.
Earlier, it urged people to attend Jummah and five-time regular prayers at mosques on a limited scale. People were also requested to observe wazu, Nafal and Sunnah prayers at home.
