National Zoo to reopen from Nov 1
On March 20, the zoo authorities announced to disallow visitors amid the Covid-19 outbreak in the country
The government has decided to reopen the National Zoo, located in the capital's Mirpur area, for the visitors maintaining proper health guidelines amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
In a press release, Fisheries and Livestock Ministry said social distancing must be maintained, visitors must go through disinfectant tunnel and their temperature should be measured.
The number of daily visitors should not exceed 2,000 and the zoo will remain open from 9am to 3pm, the release added.
