BKB receives Silver Jubilee Award for agricultural contribution
Jatiya Sangsad Deputy Speaker Md Fazle Rabbi Mia handed the award to Mohammad Ismail, chairman of the bank’s Board of Directors
The Bangladesh Cultural Reporters' Association (BCRA) has awarded the Silver Jubilee Award to Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) for "playing a unique contribution in agriculture to make Bangladesh self-reliant."
The award was handed over at a ceremony held in the Music and Dance auditorium of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy on Saturday, read a press release by BKB, issued on Sunday.
Attending the ceremony as the chief guest, Jatiya Sangsad Deputy Speaker Md Fazle Rabbi Mia handed the award to Mohammad Ismail, chairman of the Board of Directors of the bank.

State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid MP inaugurated the program, where Secretary for Land Maksudur Rahman Patwary was present as a special guest.
The President of BCRA Avi Chowdhury presided over the function.
The President of Federal Journalists Union Molla Jalal, General Secretary Shaban Mahmud, DG of Fire Service and Civil Defense Brig General Sazzad Hossain NDC, and the President of Cholochitro Shanbadik Shomity Falguni Hamid were also present – among others.
