Biman suspends scheduled flights till May 16
Bangladesh cut air connectivity with 10 countries on March 21
Biman Bangladesh Airlines has cancelled all scheduled flights on both international and domestic routes till May 16 amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Tahera Khandokar, DGM (public relations) of the national airlines confirmed The Business Standard on Tuesday.
Earlier on April 11, the airlines extended its earlier announced flight suspension to April 30 to stop coronavirus spread.
Bangladesh cut air connectivity with 10 countries on March 21. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also extended the flight suspension to 10 countries till April 15 on March 28.
As of Tuesday, the overall death toll from the deadly virus rose to 183 and the number of total infections stood at 10929 in the country.
