Capt Tasmin Doza becomes first female director in Bangladesh's aviation sector
Before this new role, she served as the chief of the Training Flight Operations Department of Biman
In a first for the country, Captain Tasmin Doza has become the first woman to be appointed as a director of any Bangladeshi airline.
She has been appointed as the director of Flight Operations of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, the national flag carrier said in an office order issued today (14 October).
Prior to her new role, Captain Doza served the airlines as the chief of the Training Flight Operations Department of Biman.
A Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology graduate, she received her flying licence from Bangladesh Flying Academy.
She also served as an instructor pilot in Fokker-28, fleet chief and instructor of Boeing-737 and an instructor of Boeing-787 Dreamliner.
