Malaysia Airlines to resume Dhaka-Kuala Lumpur flight on July 17
The airline will operate one flight every Friday in July and the number of flights would be doubled from the next month
Malaysia Airlines will resume flight operations on the Dhaka-Kuala Lumpur-Dhaka route on July 17, after a three-and-a-half-month suspension due to the Covid-19 outbreak, according to its officials.
The airlines recently got approval from the Civil Aviation Authority, Bangladesh (CAAB) to resume flights on the route.
Engineer Shaikh Bashir Ahmed Mamun, vice chairman of Sheltech (Pvt) Ltd and also general sales agent (GSA) of Malaysia Airlines in Bangladesh, told The Business Standard the CAAB approved its application on July 8 to resume the flights to and from Dhaka.

The airline will operate one flight every Friday in July and the number of flights would be doubled from the next month, he added.
"As the destination is mainly dominated by migrant workers, we want to observe the situation," Mamun said.
The airline operated its last flight on the route on March 26 this year.
