Novoair plane tyre blows out while landing in Rajshahi
The aircraft is currently grounded at Rajshahi airport
A Novoair plane tyre suddenly blew out when it landed at Shah Makhdum Airport in Rajshahi with 33 passengers on board today.
The flight took off from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 9am and the tyre on the back wheel blew out while landing at Rajshahi airport at 9:45am, said a source in Civil Aviation.
The incident left passengers panicked although no one was reportedly injured.

The aircraft is currently grounded at Rajshahi airport. Technicians from Dhaka will fly there and fix the flat tyre, the source added.
Airport Manager Sefatur Rahman did not comment on the accident when contacted.
Confirming the matter, Novoair Senior Manager Mahfuzul Alam said: "The tyre blew out towards the end of the runway after the plane landed. Passengers got down from the aircraft safely."
Some 68 passengers of the return flight were sent to Dhaka on another plane, he added.
