Saudi plane makes emergency landing at Dhaka
The flight, departing from Guangzhou, China, and was on its way to Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh
A Saudi Airlines flight has made an emergency landing at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport with 315 passengers on board on Monday evening.
Confirming the matter, Shahjalal International Airport authorities said the flight, SV 885, had an emergency landing because one of its engines suddenly stopped working.
The flight, departing from Guangzhou, China, and was on its way to Saudi Arabia's capital Riyadh when the malfunction occurred.
Airport Director Wing Commander Towhid-ul-Ahsan said, "We took all the precautions after the pilot informed us about the emergency landing. The plane landed at 6:10pm without any issue."
