Rupali Bank holds virtual meeting
The state-owned bank leads in virtual operations responding to the current pandemic situation promptly
The general managers of ten divisional offices and all zonal managers of Rupali Bank held a video conference on agri-loan disbursement on July 9. The bank's Agriculture and Rural Credit Division organised the meeting.
The state-owned commercial bank changed its mode of operations since the pandemic-led general holidays on March 26, which provides the customers with uninterrupted transaction facilities.
The latest meeting evaluated the agri-lending activities and agricultural loan program for the 2019-2020 fiscal.
The bank's Managing Director and CEO Obaid Ullah Al Masood addressed the meeting as the chief guest. He gave specific instructions to the general managers on agri-loan disbarment at the meeting.
Rupali Bank's DMD Mohammad Jahangir Alam was connected to the meeting as the special guest.
It can be noted that most of the office activities and meetings of the bank have gone online during the novel coronavirus pandemic.
The bank, pioneer to online banking, is currently holding its programmes ranging from board meetings to branch managers talk on virtual platform.
