Standard Bank approves 5% dividend for 2020
The approval came during the bank’s 22nd annual general meeting
Standard Bank Limitedapproved a 5% dividend (2.5% stock and 2.5% cash) for shareholders for the year 2020.
The approval came during the bank's 22nd annual general meeting (AGM) held through a digital platformon Thursday, said a media statement.
Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed, chairman of the board of directors of the bank, presided over the meeting.
Acting Company Secretary Md Ali Reza conducted the AGM.
During the meeting, Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed briefly presented the business indicators of the bank and directors' report for the year 2020 before the shareholders.
He sincerely thanked all the esteemed clients and shareholders for their active participation and sincere cooperation for the advancement of the bank.
Vice Chairman, Ashok Kumar Saha; Directors, Kamal Mostafa Chowdhury, Ferozur Rahman, Md Monzur Alam, SAM Hossain, Mohammed Abdul Aziz, Alhaj Mohammed Shamsul Alam, Gulzar Ahmed, Md Zahedul Hoque, Alhaj Mohd Yousuf Chowdhury, Ferdous Ali Khan, Kazi Khurram Ahmed, Md Abul Hossain and Najmul Huq Chaudhury; joined the meeting.
Among others, Managing Director, Khondoker Rashed Maqsood; Additional Managing Director, Md Touhidul Alam Khan; Deputy Managing Director, Mohammad Rafiqul Islam; and a large number of shareholders joined the AGM.
