BADC Chairman visits Mymensingh to inspect ongoing projects
Md. Ruhul Amin Khan, Chairman of the Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC), visited various BADC activities in Mymensingh district from November 15 to November 16, 2024. During his visit, he participated in a workshop organized by a partner project, as well as an annual research review workshop at the Bangladesh Atomic Research Institute.
The Chairman also inspected the ongoing construction of a pre-fabricated steel fertilizer warehouse at the existing fertilizer depot in Shambhuganj, Mymensingh, and reviewed the activities of the irrigation wing. He emphasized that BADC is constructing pre-fabricated steel fertilizer warehouses across the country to ensure proper storage and the timely supply of high-quality fertilizer to farmers. He instructed that construction work should adhere strictly to the approved drawings and designs, with an emphasis on using quality construction materials.
Furthermore, he underscored the importance of ensuring that farmers are not subjected to discrimination or harassment when accessing agricultural inputs and irrigation facilities, calling for fair and efficient service delivery.
