Bangladesh Commerce Bank holds Business Conference 2025

Bangladesh Commerce Bank Limited (BCBL) Business Conference-2025 took place on January 18, 2025, at Hotel Sky City, Dhaka. The event was graced by Mr. Md. Ataur Rahman, Chairman of the Board of Directors, who attended as the chief guest. Special guests included Mr. Md. Mohasin Miah, Chairman of the Board Executive Committee; Mr. Shaikh Ashafuzzaman FCA, Chairman of the Board Audit Committee; and Mr. Mohammad Ziaul Karim, Deputy Managing Director. The program was presided over by Mr. Mohammed Mosharaf Hossain, Managing Director and CEO of the bank.

The conference was attended by branch managers, sub-branch in-charges, divisional heads from the head office, and other key officials. It focused on evaluating and analyzing the progress of various business targets, including deposits, loans and advances, profit/loss, loan recovery, import/export, and remittance, as of December 2024. Additionally, it set the work plan and business targets for 2025.

In his speech, Chief Guest Mr. Md. Ataur Rahman emphasized the importance of providing excellent customer service to achieve the bank's overall goals. He urged everyone to work collaboratively to ensure that all bank services reach customers directly. Mr. Md. Mohasin Miah, Chairman of the Board Executive Committee, provided strategic directions to help meet the bank's 2025 targets, stressing the significance of deposit collection and non-funded business.

Managing Director and CEO, Mr. Mohammed Mosharaf Hossain, outlined the necessary strategies to achieve business objectives for 2025, including targets for deposits, loans and advances, debt recovery, import/export, and remittance.
