Biman wins 'ShareTrip Monitor Airline of the Year 2023' awards
Biman Bangladesh Airlines bagged the Gold Award in the 'Best Economy Class' and 'Best In-Flight Meal in Economy Class' categories, besides winning bronze medals in seven other categories, in the 'ShareTrip Monitor Airline of the Year 2023'.
The award is based on an online opinion survey of regular air travelers conducted by travel and tourism fortnightly The Bangladesh Monitor, reads a press release.
Md Mahbub Ali, State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism, was present as the chief guest at the prize distribution ceremony organised at Hotel Intercontinental in the capital on September 20.
On behalf of Biman, Director Administration and Human Resources (Joint Secretary) Md Chiddikur Rahman, Director Marketing and Sales (Joint Secretary) Md Kamrul Hasan Khan NDC and Director Customer Service (Joint Secretary) Md Motiul Islam Chowdhury accepted the awards.

It is to be noted that in this year's poll, the most customer friendly airline (domestic), best regional airline, best in-flight entertainment, best in-flight service (domestic), best on time performance (domestic), airline of the year and domestic airline of the year categories. Biman won the bronze medal.
