Dr. Samina Ahmed appointed BCSIR Chairman
Dr. Samina Ahmed has been appointed as the Chairman of the Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR).
The appointment was confirmed in a notification signed by Additional Secretary ATM Shariful Alam on Wednesday, under the authority of the President.
According to the notification, issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on 18 September, Dr. Ahmed will serve a three-year term starting from the date of her appointment, in accordance with Sections 5(3) and 5(6) of the Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research Act, 2013.
