IFIC Bank organises seminar on financial literacy and banking
IFIC Bank PLC, in collaboration with the Jagannath University Marketing Alumni Association (JUMMA), recently conducted a seminar on financial literacy and banking careers at Jagannath University's central auditorium.
The event commenced with a welcome speech by Mr Abdur Razzak Raj, General Secretary of the Jagannath University Marketing Alumni Association. Attended by over 300 students from various departments, the day-long Seminar featured Ms Fariha Haider, Head of the Centralized Retail Marketing Department of IFIC Bank, as the keynote speaker. She highlighted that IFIC Bank, the largest banking network in Bangladesh, has also been one of the top recruiters in recent years. During her session, she emphasised the importance of financial management and career planning for students.
The workshop concluded with a closing speech by Professor Imranul Haque, Chairman of the Department of Marketing. It is worth mentioning that IFIC Bank has been conducting inclusive financial literacy initiatives nationwide.
