Meridian Finance gets new MD and CEO

Meridian Finance and Investment Limited has appointed Quazi Nizam Ahmed as its new managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO), effective from 1 August.
Prior to his appointment, Ahmed served the company as its acting MD and CEO, according to a press statement on Tuesday.
He also served Meridian as a deputy managing director (DMD).

Ahmed has 23 years of working experience in non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs), heading various departments and divisions in several organisations, including United Finance Limited and IDLC Finance Limited.
He completed his BCom and MCom in marketing from the University of Dhaka.
