Mohammed Abdul Aziz becomes chairman of Standard Bank
The prominent businessman & social worker Lion Mohammed Abdul Aziz has been elected as the Chairman of Standard Bank PLC.
The board of directors of the bank unanimously elected Mohammed Abdul Aziz as the Chairman in 396th Board Meeting held at the bank's head office, Dhaka on Wednesday (21 August), reads a press release.
Sponsor director of the bank Aziz started his own business after completing his graduation in Commerce from the renowned Dhaka College in 1972.
By dint of his untiring efforts, hard work and sincerity he established himself as a successful entrepreneur. He is a founder member and Board of Trustee of Fareast International University.
Aziz joined Lionism in 1985 and elected as the District Governor of Lions Clubs International District 315 B2, Bangladesh for the year 2005-06. He is also the founder Vice Chairman of three Eye Hospitals in the name of Lions Club of Dhaka Progressive Eye Hospital.
