NOVOAIR celebrates twelve years of excellence

NOVOAIR, a leading private airline in Bangladesh, marks a significant milestone as it celebrates 12 years of operation and enters its 13th year.

To commemorate this achievement, the NOVOAIR anniversary is being celebrated through various events on its anniversary, reflecting on its journey and growth.

Managing Director of NOVOAIR, Mr Mofizur Rahman, extended his gratitude to business partners, passengers, and stakeholders. He emphasised the airline's unwavering commitment to two core principles: safety and service. Our business philosophy prioritises on-time flight operation and safe travel above all else. NOVOAIR remains committed to providing safe, timely, and superior services to its passengers and looking forward to many more years of continued success, said Mr. Rahman.

He further added, Over the years, NOVOAIR has successfully navigated numerous challenges, establishing itself as a reliable and trusted airline. We are committed to expanding our domestic and international routes and delivering even higher service standards.

Currently, NOVOAIR operates daily domestic flights connecting Dhaka to Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Sylhet, Jashore, Saidpur, and Rajshahi. Although international flights to Kolkata are temporarily suspended, they will soon resume.

The airline started its operations on 9^th January 2013 on the Dhaka to Chittagong route, which marked the beginning of its flight operation.

Since its inception, NOVOAIR has operated over 100,000 flights and served more than 7.5 million passengers.

In addition to its operational growth, NOVOAIR has pioneered several initiatives to enhance customer experience. The airline introduced the country's first frequent flyer programme,  "SMILES", Co-branded Card, a mobile app for easy ticket purchase and web check-in to make the check-in process hassle-free.

The fortnightly travel magazine The Bangladesh Monitor awarded NOVOAIR the Best Domestic Airlines award in 2014, the Best Domestic Airlines award in 2019, and the Best On-time Performance Airlines award in 2022 and 2023.
