Popular Life hosts discussion on national progress
A discussion titled "Role of Popular Life in Employment, Poverty Alleviation, and Economic Development" took place at the International Mother Language Institute Auditorium in Segunbagicha, Dhaka. The event highlighted the contributions of Popular Life Insurance in addressing key economic challenges and fostering growth in Bangladesh.
Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, a member of the National Standing Committee of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and the visionary founder of Popular Life Insurance, attended as the chief guest. The event was chaired by Mohammad Zahirul Islam Chowdhury, the company's chairman, while BM Yusuf Ali, Managing Director, CEO, and President of the Bangladesh Insurance Forum, delivered the keynote address.
Other distinguished attendees included the company's founding directors and former chairmen, Amir Humayun Mahmud Chowdhury and Md. Motahar Hossain, along with founding director Shahzada Mahmud Chowdhury. BM Shawkat Ali, Additional Managing Director of the company, gave the vote of thanks.
Senior officials of Popular Life Insurance were also present, emphasizing the organization's ongoing role in creating employment opportunities, reducing poverty, and driving economic development.
