Presidency University celebrates civil engineering harmony day
Presidency University's Department of Civil Engineering hosted the grand celebration of 'Civil Engineering Harmony Day 2024' on December 20 at Fantasy Kingdom.
The day-long event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of approximately 800 students, faculty members, officials, and staff, creating a jubilant atmosphere.
The event was graced by the honourable Vice-Chancellor of Presidency University, Dr Md—Abdul Mannan Chowdhury, as the Chief Guest. The Dean of the Business School, Professor Abul Kalam, and the University Registrar, Mr Sakir Hossain, attended as Special Guests. Adding to the excitement, former Bangladesh National Cricket Team player Javed Omar Belim joined as a special attraction.
The Head of the Civil Engineering Department, Mr Mostafizur Rahman, presided over the program. The presence of distinguished guests, including Dr Shihabuddin, Head of the EEE Department, and Mr Jahid Hasan, the Deputy Director of Admissions, Promotion and PR, further elevated the event's significance.
The day featured a variety of engaging events that captivated participants. The celebration culminated in an enchanting cultural evening and a vibrant concert. One of the most heartfelt moments was the welcoming of freshmen and the farewell for outgoing students, which left a lasting impression on all attendees.
