The much-awaited grand finale of Idea Hunters 4.0, organised by ULAB Digital Marketing Club, took place on the permanent campus of ULAB on 30th January 2025.
After months of rigorous competition, Team "Wedding Crash" from Bangladesh University of Professionals has emerged as champions of the Idea Hunter 4.0.
Idea Hunters 4.0, the flagship event of ULAB Digital Marketing Club, is a nationwide marketing case competition in which teams from universities all over Bangladesh come forward to participate and showcase their talent. The competition was divided into three unique segments, allowing participating teams to perform their best.
The Champions of Idea Hunters 4.0, Wedding Crashers, has seized Tk's lucrative prize money. 50,000. Consequently, Team "Canto Manto" won the 1st Runners-Up title with Tk's prize money. 30,000. Last but not least, Team "Visionary Vortex" won the 2nd Runners Up title with the prize money of Tk. 20,000.
Sheikh Aminur Rahman, COO of SR Chemical Industries & President of Corporate Executive Club Ltd., was the Chief Guest at the Grand Finale of Idea Hunters 4.0. "With my 17 years of experience at Grameenphone and 27 years in general, I can assure you—taking risks is essential. The security of a fixed salary often holds people back from business, but I chose to do both to break that cycle. In today's competitive world, innovation and a strong foundation are key shortcuts that won't lead to lasting success. Shortcuts won't build a strong foundation. You must think ahead and understand your market to stand out.".
Moreover, M M Mahbub Hasan, Senior Vice President and Head of Financial Inclusion and School Banking from Prime Bank PLC; Azim Hossain, Head of Marketing and Sales from 10 Minute School, and Tarif Mohammad Khan, Head of Communication from Dekko Isho Venture Capital, and National Startup Coach from Accelerating Bangladesh, were present in the Judges Panel of the Grand Finale. During the Grand Finale, he stated,
Istiaque Ahmed Eshan, President of ULAB Digital Marketing Club and one of the Conveners of Idea Hunters 4.0, encouraged the event. He stated, "Idea Hunters is a platform where the collective ideas of the young market leaders get the grandeur they deserve."
Idea Hunters 4.0 was the fourth instalment of this marketing case competition, arranged by ULAB Digital Marketing Club for university students all around Bangladesh. By maintaining their innovative tactics through this case competition from an early age, the organisers and participants are making a difference in Bangladesh's marketing sector.
