Public speaking workshop held at State University
A special workshop titled "The Art of Public Speaking" was held at the State University of Bangladesh.
Organised by the university's Public Speaking Club, in the morning at the campus conference room.The honourable Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr Nowzia Yasmin, was the chief guest at the event. In her inaugural speech, she highlighted the importance of such workshops in enhancing students' skills.
The main speakers were Sadman Sadik, a famous author, trainer, and video content creator, and Md Abdul Kaiyum, UNDP Bangladesh's Head of Communications. They discussed the importance of public speaking in building self-confidence in personal and professional life and the strategies involved. At the end of the session, the speakers answered various questions from the students.

The Dean of the School of Business and Social Sciences, Md. Shamsul Islam, and teachers from other departments were also present at the workshop.
Nearly 150 students from various departments participated in the workshop, and at the end, certificates were awarded to them.
Md. Bayezid Khan, a teacher in the university's Journalism Department and convener of the SUB Public Speaking Club, moderated the programme.
