Russian House in Dhaka hosts three-day Russian documentary film festival
A three-day festival of Russian documentary films was held at the Russian House in Dhaka from January 27 to 29, 2025. Organized in collaboration with RT Documentaries and the "Red Pepper Film" studio, the event was attended by students from schools, colleges, and universities in Bangladesh and representatives of youth organizations and journalists.
The festival featured a diverse lineup of documentary films, including The Man and the Steamboat, Siberian Apostles, Tech from Tomsk, Donbass: The Flipside of War, From Berlin to Maidan, The Alien, Frontline Diary of an American Officer, Sons of Chechnya Guarding the Russian State, and more.
Through these films, the festival provided a deep dive into Russian life, culture, science, and history, offering Bangladeshi audiences a unique opportunity to explore the country's rich heritage and contemporary issues.
