State University launches Media Talent Hunt Competition 2025
The Journalism, Communication, and Media Studies Department of State University is set to host the Media Talent Hunt Competition 2025 from January 16 to January 25. This initiative aims to discover and nurture new talent in media, communication, and journalism.
Participants showcasing exceptional skills will have the opportunity to pursue a four-year Honors program with up to 100% scholarship. All participants will also be eligible for admission waivers ranging from 10% to 100%, based on merit and performance.
The competition will be conducted online, allowing nationwide participation. Eligible candidates include HSC graduates interested in media, communication, and journalism, as well as current journalists.
Scholarships will be awarded based on excellence in news reporting, digital media, content creation, video production, photography, and social media strategies. Participants availing this special offer will not be eligible for other university waivers.
Mohammad Shamsul Islam, Head of the Department, commented, "With advancements in technology, including AI, the media landscape is constantly evolving. Our goal is to enhance the skills of young individuals, empowering them professionally. This competition aims to showcase young talent and develop skilled resources ready for future technological challenges."
