Three day kids time fair ends on Sunday
The Kids Time Fair, Bangladesh's most significant event celebrating children's creativity, ended Sunday at the Shishu Academy premises.
This three-day extravaganza offers many activities, including Goofi's puppet show, a magic show, and unique games focused on nutrition and safe food. Additionally, engaging cultural programs featuring children's dance, songs, and poetry recitations are featured.
Different partners support the fifth edition of Kids Time: Grameen Danone Shokti as the nutrition partner, ToguMogu as the parenting partner, Polar as the ice cream partner, Dettol as the hygiene partner, Chopstick as the snacks partner, Paper Fly as the logistics partner, and Goofi World as the Entertainment partner.
Around 27,000 children of different ages and their guardians attended the fair. Several schools from other parts of Dhaka also participated. Notable figures such as Ayman Sadiq, founder of Ten Minute School; Umme Maisun, the popular English teacher on YouTube; and Shuvasish Bhowmick, conducted insightful parenting sessions.
Unique attractions included the 'Kids Time Creative Zone' and the 'Healthy Zone' sponsored by Grameen Danone Shokti. Children engaged in different arts and crafts activities in the Creative Zone, while the Healthy Zone offered fun games, gifts, doodle boards, and photo booths. Children also had the chance to print on-demand t-shirts.
The fair was designed not only for children but also for parents. "This event aims to bring together different brands and initiatives focused on the education, health, and well-being of children aged 3 to 12," said Tahmina Rahman. She emphasised that one goal of the fair is to inform parents about creativity, safe food, and nutrition.
