Virtual seminar on ‘National Insurance Policy 2014; Way Ahead’
Bangladesh Insurance Academy organised a virtual seminar titled 'National Insurance Policy 2014; Way Ahead' on 14 June over Zoom.
M Mosharraf Hossain, Chairman of Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA) was the chief guest of the seminar and Sheikh Kabir Hossain, President of Bangladesh Insurance Association was the guest of honour.

SM Ibrahim Hossain, Director (Acting) Bangladesh Insurance Academy presided over the inaugural ceremony of the seminar while Dr Mohammad Sohrab Uddin, Actuary, Chairman, Academic Committee, Bangladesh Insurance Academy was the moderator.
P K Roy, Managing Director, Rupali Insurance Co Ltd, Jalalul Azim, Managing Director, Pragati Life Insurance Ltd and Salam Sonar, Director (Deputy Secretary), Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority presented their papers in the seminar.
More than 80 participants from different insurance companies participated in the virtual seminar.
