Tanvir Ahmed nominated for Outstanding Young Persons award
He is receiving this award in the category of “Outstanding Contribution in Business, Economy and Entrepreneurial Accomplishments”.
Tanvir Ahmed, managing director of Sheltech Group, has been nominated as one of the awardees for the "Outstanding Young Persons" award for 2020.
Junior Chamber International (JCI) confirmed the news through a letter on Thursday, said a media release.
He is receiving this award in the category of "Outstanding Contribution in Business, Economy and Entrepreneurial Accomplishments".

He will be handed over the award at a ceremony to be held at the Hotel La Meridian Dhaka on 14 November.
JCI represents 140 countries in the world. The organisation awards young leaders, including entrepreneurs and businessmen, from these countries in 10 categories every year.
After completing his BBA and MBA from the UK, Tanvir Ahmed returned to Bangladesh and started his own business.
He got appointed as the managing director of Sheltech Group in August last year. He is also a director of Envoy Group.
Tanvir is an executive member of the Bangladesh Employees Federation and a former director of the Bangladesh-India Chamber.
