CSE holds training on government securities' trading

Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) limited on Thursday arranged an in-house training programme on "Trading of Government Securities in the Secondary Platform of the Exchange."

In the inaugural session, Managing Director of CSE Mamun Ur Rashid urged "Government Securities (Bond) is such a diversified product in capital market which that can harmonize both the capital and financial markets.
"It is expected that government securities will be conducive to increasing liquidity in the capital market, if listed."
The training program conducted was by Mohammed Nazrul Islam, deputy director at Supervision and Regulation of Markets and Issuer Companies (SRMIC) in Bangladesh Securities Exchange Commission (BSEC).
Around 35 executives of CSE took part in the training programme.
