Stocks back to green after 4-day slide
DSE turnover rose by 43 percent to Tk293.34crore during the period till 11:30am
Indices of the both stock exchanges reported an upward trend in the first one-and-half-hour trading session on Tuesday after four days of consecutive fall.
In this session, DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) increased by 17.87 points or 0.37 percent to 4,840.
The benchmark index CASPI at the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) gained 69 points to 13,876.
Moreover, the Shariah-based DSES index gained 4.68 points to 1,113 and blue-chip index DS30 rose 5.84 points to 1,677.
DSE turnover rose by 43 percent to Tk293.34crore during the period till 11:30am.
Following the investors movement 208 companies share price increased, while 37 issues fell and 80 remain unchanged during the session at the DSE.
