Unilever Consumer Care Limited's share price dropped by 7.45% or Tk 2,905 due to it posted lower profit and dividend to the shareholders for the last year.

According to the audit report, its net profit fell by 46% to Tk52.97 crore and declared 440% cash dividend, which was 550% cash dividend in the previous year.

Meanwhile, DSEX, the key index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) rose by 0.08% or 4.59 points to 5,409 in the first one and half hour trading session.
Turnover, one of the major indicator of the DSE, fell by 25% to Tk215.18 crore during the session.
While, 128 companies share price rose, 80 issues fell and 112 issues price remain unchanged during the session at the DSE.
The benchmark index CASPI at the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) gained 28 points to 15,632 till 11:30 am.
