DMP permits e-cab members to use vehicles for emergency services
E-cab wanted written permission from Dhaka Metropolitan Police to move without restrictions
The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has permitted e-cab member institutions to use motorcycle, bicycle and covered-van to keep running emergency services on Saturday.
Delivery staffers of e-cab institutions have faced obstacles from law enforcers despite following the hygiene rules. Because of this, e-cab wanted written permission from the DMP for movement amid restrictions.
General Secretary of e-cab Md Abdul Wahed Tomal said, "To continue giving emergency services, e-cab institutions are working hard from the very beginning of the shutdown. We hope that field-level problems will be resolve with the DMP's permission."

Almost a hundred e-cab member companies and 2,000 of their staffers are working every day to keep the emergency supply chain running. With the DMP's permission, people concerned hope that the working scope will expand.
