Fans furious over ‘Hakuna Matata’ reincarnation
Cartoon Brew did a shot by shot comparison of the original animation and the new version
The reincarnation of the popular and catchy song “Hakuna Matata,” from Disney’s upcoming live action film “The Lion King,” has faced severe backlash from the audience.
A clip of the song was showcased on the Jimmy Kimmel live show, but the fans were less than delighted. Although Donald Glover, Seth Rogen and Billy Eichner did a pitch perfect rendition of the song, the visuals felt flat on the ground.
