'Gangchil' shooting completed in Noakhali
Purnima will be playing the role of an NGO worker, while Ferdous will be seen acting as a journalist.
"Gangchil", a movie based on the novel written by the Minister for Road Transport and Bridges, Obaidul Quader, is currently being shot in Noakhali and is planned to complete its shooting today. The shooting faced a hitch at the beginning of last year when the actors Ferdous and Purnima had a bike accident. Afterward, it again started in August 2019.
Last week, director Noim Imtiaz Neyamul said, "The film is being currently shot in Noakhali's chor Elahi. Most of the actors have already arrived and a final lot of Noakhali shooting is already in process. The shooting will be completed within 7 February."
Written by Maruf Rehman and Priyo Chattopadhyay, the film is produced by Icchemoto and Nuzhat films. The actors' list includes prominent actors Ferdous and Purnima in lead roles.
Purnima will be playing the role of an NGO worker, while Ferdous will be seen acting as a journalist.
Rituparna Sengupta will be seen playing a pivotal character in the movie and the movie also showcases popular actors such as Tariq Anam Khan, Anisur Rahman Milon, and Ahsanul Haque Minu in important roles.
Eighty percent of the movie is being shot in Noakhali while the rest of the portion will be completed in FDC. Though the date will be finalized after the shooting is done completely, the director plans to release the movie in time for Eid.
