Miles all set to rock Dhaka on Tuesday
Popular bands Feedback, Souls, Warfaze, Dalchhut and Vikings will perform at the concert to pay tribute to Miles
Fans term Miles as a generation-defining music band. The iconic band is turning 40. Their celebration for the occasion began earlier this year with concerts in the USA, Canada and Australia. The band is ending their celebration tour in Bangladesh on 24th December, at ICCB, Hall 3.
The frontman of the band, Shafin Ahmed, expressed his happy thoughts with The Business Standard.
"Our fans have been our biggest strength. They are our inspiration. Our Bangladeshi fans living abroad show the same craze as the fans here. Miles are just as busy as ever. They are still in demand. It has been a long and eventful journey. We are looking forward to the event on the 24th. And we are happy to say that the event is already sold out," he said.
When asked about the segment, 'Sing with Miles', where three lucky winners will get up on the stage with the iconic band, the lead vocalist said that they are in the process of making the final selection and the announcement will come as a surprise for the fans.
The guitar that they are auctioning is signed by all the band members. It is an acoustic guitar that Hamin Ahmed, the lead guitarist played.
The money from the auction will be donated to more than thirty-five thousand unprivileged children in collaboration with JAAGO Foundation.
Popular bands Feedback, Souls, Warfaze, Dalchhut and Vikings will perform at the concert to pay tribute to Miles.
