Sabyasachi as a 'detective' once again
“Boba Rahashya” has some horror elements as well as few psychological aspects of the human mind.
Over the years, we have become accustomed to seeing veteran West Bengal actor Sabyasachi Chakraborty in the iconic role of Feluda. It is a character that has defined his career. Be it silver-screen, television or even radio voice-overs, the character has become synonymous with him.
Now Sabyasachi is returning to his detective avatar once again but unfortunately not as Feluda. He will be seen in young director Abhishek Bagchi's upcoming thriller "Boba Rahashya".
Abhishek plans to make series of films revolving around a character Inspector Gorai and "Boba Rahashya" will be the first one of the series. Since portrayal of Feluda with élan, Sabyasachi has been offered to play detective characters by a number of filmmakers over the years but he has refused everyone. However, Abishek's script had something new which made Sabyasachi say yes.
"Boba Rahashya" is more than your average detective film. The story has some horror elements as well which tweaks with a few psychological aspects of the human mind. The film has been extensively shot in and around Jharkhand. Beside Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Rahul Banerjee will portray an interesting character. Bangladeshi actress Nusrat Imroz Tisha will be present as the female lead, while Sudiptaa Chakraborty plays a psychiatrist. Darshana Banik will also be seen in a key role.
