Endangered serow rescued in Bandarban

Lama Forest Division of Bandarban has rescued a baby serow in Ali Kadam upazila of the district.

"The local Mro people took hold of the goat last week. On information, we went to the spot and rescued it," said S M Kaysar, divisional forest officer of Lama Forest Division.
The animal has been handed over to the Dulahazra Safari Park, he said.
Matamuhuri Range Official Md Minar Choudhury said the rescued baby goat has been handed over to the safari park officials on January 23.
The goat is currently under treatment, said the official.
