Rainfalls likely to continue two more days
In the 3 hours from 6am to 9am on Wednesday morning, 41-millimeter rainfalls were recorded in Dhaka
The incessant rain is likely to continue for the next two days across the country, the Met office said on Wednesday.
"It will rain intermittently for the next two days in the capital. Besides, light to moderate rain is likely to occur at most places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Sylhet, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions," said AKM Nazmul Haque, meteorologist of the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
"In the 3 hours from 6am to 9am on Wednesday morning, 41-millimeter rainfalls were recorded in Dhaka," said the meteorologist.
The highest 156-millimeter rainfalls were recorded in Cumilla in the last 24-hour.
