Air pollution is a growing concern in Dhaka, and for Aysha Rashid, who suffers from asthma, the effects were especially severe during the winter months. Her health deteriorated rapidly as the air quality worsened.

When Aysha and her partner Boudewijn Sterk searched for effective air purifiers in Bangladesh, they quickly realised that the available options were far beyond their budget.
