Chinese theaters are set to open on July 20th after a six month closure due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Action pic Bloodshot and adventure epic Dolittle will open in China on July 24, according to reports by Hollywood Reporter.
Oscar winner 1917 will open a week later. The release dates were revealed Friday, a day after the China Film Administration gave some cinemas greenlight to reopen on July 20.
The three films were all set to open this February but were delayed as the coronavirus put the country in a total lockdown.
The move comes as the theaters are plunged in a financial distress for several months now. They'd have to follow strict guidelines though. Most notably theaters would be unable to play movies above a 2 hour run-time.
