Borat 2 gets an unusual title
Sacha Baron Cohen will reprise his role of the eccentric reporter Borat
A sequel of the Sacha Baron Cohen starrer "Borat" was announced this year. A now-removed listing that appeared on the Writer's Guild of America West's website revealed the title of the sequel.
According to the listing, the title of Borat 2 is "Borat: Gift of Pornographic Monkey to Vice Premiere Mikhael Pence to Make Benefit Recently Diminished Nation of Kazakhstan."
The rather "unusual" title seems to be par for the course as a follow up to 2006's Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.
After footage of Sacha Baron Cohen's titular character surfaced on YouTube, it was revealed that a sequel was in the works. The shooting in Los Angeles has allegedly wrapped. The film is said to be being screened by industry insiders with a possible launch "prior to the election in an effort to reach younger voters."
