Apple TV has released the trailer of Defending Jacob, a mystery-thriller series starring Chris Evans. The series is based on a novel of the same name by William Landay.

"Defending Jacob" debuts with its first three episodes on Apple TV on Friday, April 24.
The series also stars Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey), Jaeden Martell (IT), Cherry Jones (Transparent), J.K. Simmons (Counterpart), and Pablo Schrieber (American Gods).
"Avengers" star Chris Evans was last seen in the Rian Johnson film "Knives Out," which was nominated for best original screenplay at the Oscars.
