Fagun Audio Vision brings special Baishakhi Panchforon
“Panchforon” would be aired on ATN Bangla at 8:00 pm
Just like every year, this year too Fagun Audio Vision has produced "Panchforon", a special magazine show for Pahela Baishakh. ATN Bangla channel has been airing Panchforon every year on Pahela Baishakh for almost a decade and a half. 14 April (Pahela Baishakh), Tuesday this show would be aired on ATN Bangla at 8:00 pm. The show would be sponsored by Keya cosmetics.
The Panchforon Pahela Baishakh special is made with the present coronavirus situation in mind. It features the predicament of a person, whose distant relative comes to visit his home and gets stranded because of the coronavirus. This person was already hosting his brother-in-law at the house. The three of them together continue to converse about important issues and views. Their interaction is interspaced with songs, short plays, and reports.
Shuvashish Voumik acted as the host, Ziaul Hasan Kislu as the distant relative and Sajal as the brother-in-law.
This year's Panchforon features two main songs. One of them is performed by popular artist S.I. Tutul, presented by the band Dhrubotara. The song on the theme of Pahela Baishakh was written by Kobir Bokul , tune and music by S.I. Tutul. The other song is a folk song. "Majhi baia jao re" was sung by actor Chanchal Chowdhury, to the tune of Kanai Lal Shil. Both of the songs feature music videos shot in and around Dhaka. Aside from the songs, this show also features flute performance by visually impaired Abdula Khondokar from Sirajganj.
Aside from entertainment pieces, Panchforon will also feature some investigative reports, including one on the traditional Saree Hat at Shahjadpur, Sirajganj. Other reports will feature rural attraction Bioscope and unusual craft items by Somiron Dutta from Chandpur.
Since the show revolves around a special day, it usually includes short plays on that day's theme. This Panchforon will also include some comedy and parody short plays. The cast includes Abdul Aziz, Kazi Asad, Mohammad Bari, Jahid Shikdar, Jahid Chowdhury, Hedayet Nannu, Sujat Shimul, Nazrul Islam, Subarna Mojumdar, Sajjad Saju, Sejuti, Motiur Rahman, Bahar and Hashim Masud among others.
