Ferdous Wahid tests positive for Covid-19

Pop singer Ferdous Wahid has tested positive for coronavirus after a second test.
The legendary singer is currently undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit of Combined Military Hospital in Dhaka. He was admitted to the hospital on Thursday evening with a fever, reported by Prothom Alo.
Last week, Ferdous Wahid tested negative for Covid-19 upon testing at the city's Anwar Khan Modern Hospital. After he was admitted to CMH, his swab samples were collected on Friday morning for a second test.
The 67-year-old singer has been suffering from heart disease, high blood pressure and diabetes for a long time.
Ferdous Wahid's singing career goes as far back as 50 years. He gained massive popularity by singing pop songs.
Some of his most well-known songs are: "Ami Ek Paharadar," "Mamunia," "Age Jodi Jantam", "Shon Ore Chotto Khoka," and "Ami Ghor Badhilam."
