Ekushey Padak winner and veteran Bangladeshi film, television and stage actress, Ferdousi Mazumder has expressed deep condolences over the demise of the noted actor Aly Zaker.
She told The Business Standard, "I got acquainted with Aly Zaker while doing 'Baki Itihas' play. Friendship and family ties formed very quickly between us."
"We did a lot more work together later, including famous plays like Macbeth and Tempest. Most of our plays are directed by Abdullah Al Mamun. We also did a lot of work together on television," Ferdousi Mazumder added.
"We were supposed to read a play together, but it was not possible because he was ill. We were waiting for his recovery. That never happened again, he passed away," she added.
"Aly Zaker was a successful actor and our comrade in arms. It was important for an educated person like him to remain in the theatre world for a lot more time," she further said.
