Kabori and I used to share our food: Babita
"Kabori Apa was like the lighthouse of our film industry"
"At first I couldn't believe it, I thought it was just another hearsay like Farooque bhai's death news. Later, when I turned on the television during Seheri, I realised that it was not a rumour," actress Babita said reacting to the death of veteran actress Kabori.
"I truly cannot believe that she is no longer with us. Kabori Apa was like the lighthouse of our film industry. She was a legendary actress and losing her has led to a big loss for the industry."
Recalling the legend and the memory of last working with her in Gazi Mahbub's movie "Raja Surjo Kha" Babita said, "Kaboriapa was the MP of Narayanganj when I offered her to act in the movie with me and she promptly said yes."
"We used to share our food from the same tiffin box during the time of the shooting. Sometimes, Kaboriapa's son Shaker would join us and we all used to have our meal together. All these have now become memories," Babita said in a grave tone.
"The last time we had the chance to meet was at the funeral of Nayok Rajjak," Babita said adding that it was the last time they connected.
The actress prayed for the eternal peace of her beloved colleague.
