Guy Pearce, Monica Bellucci, and Harold Torres from ZeroZeroZero have been cast alongside Liam Neeson in his new action thriller Memory.
Martin Campbell, the director of the James Bond films Goldeneye and Casino Royale, directs the film, which stars Liam Neeson as Alex Lewis, a "expert assassin with a reputation for discreet precision."
Pearce and Taj Atwal will play veteran FBI agents who join forces with Mexican intelligence liaison Hugo Marquez (Torres) to investigate the resulting carnage, attracting the wrath of a local tech mogul (Bellucci).
The script was written by Dario Scardapane and is based on Jef Geeraerts' book De Zaak Alzheimer and Erik Van Looy's Belgian film The Memory of a Killer. Filming has already begun in Bulgaria, with Ray Fearon rounding out the cast.
Rupert Maconick, Arthur Sarkissian, and Michael Heimler are producing along with Cathy Schulman under her Welle Entertainment banner. Teddy Schwarzman and Ben Stillman, as well as Peter Bouckaert and Rudy Durand, will executive produce the film, which will be completely funded by Black Bear Pictures.
